Yesterday the buttons and buttonholes were finally done, then it was rinsed and ironed. Although not perfect, I am very pleased with the finished product. Overall the pattern was relatively simple. Due to first time experience with shoulder plackets, there were a few hiccups. Also, the pattern was shown with tatting but I chose ivory lace instead because it brought out the color of the sleeping kittens. A big thank you to Patsy and all the ladies at The Sewing Room for their help and encouragement. Thank you also to Wendy Schoen for her shadow work classes. The entire project was a wonderful challenge and I am now ready to move on to the next one!
